How to Play

Each case gives you a victim, a handful of suspects, and a grid of rooms. Your job is to place every suspect using nothing but the clues, and the killer is whoever ends up in the victim's room.

No detective experience needed. If you can solve a sudoku, you can solve a murder.

  1. Read the case. Each puzzle opens with a short scene and a list of suspects.
  2. Use the clues. Who was above, below, beside, or in the same room as whom?
  3. Place every suspect. No suspect repeats in a row or column.
  4. Find the killer. It's whoever ended up in the victim's room.

Full instructions are in the front of the book, and the solutions are in the back.
